Geraldton man found dead

Police have released the name of a man found dead on Friday night after failing to return from a fishing trip.

He was Francesco Capurso, 78, of Geraldton.

Mr Capurso had set off from the Geraldton boat ramp about 6am yesterday in a 13-foot Quintrex aluminium boat.

A search was launched when he was reported overdue by a family member.
