Extra personnel have been deployed to join the search for missing Beverly couple Jennie and Raymond Kehlet.

Police and Department of Fire and Emergency Services will continue the land and air search into the weekend that has so far covered 11 square kilometres in an unforgiving area of rough terrain, and over 625 square kilometres by helicopter.

The couple was last seen on Sunday, March 22 at Table Top, near Sandstone, in the state’s Mid West.

The skeletal remains, believed to be human, located in a mineshaft during the thorough land search on April 8 are still the subject of investigation and the identity is not yet known.
