The B52s once again dominated in the water as the men and women grabbed victories in contrasting styles.

The women dominated the Rats 15-5 as Tenielle Hawke put another four goals in the back of the net moving to 32 goals this season.

Evie Prout and Maddie Pead each buried hat-tricks to add to the Rats woes.

In the A-grade men’s game, the B52s made hard work of their 8-6 victory over the Rats.

The B52s went up early thanks to early goals from Corey Smith and Kurt Tunbridge but the Rats fought back hard as Luke Neuwert and Kye McVee both scored late on to keep the pressure on the winning side.

Rats coach Luke Neuwert was full of praise for his side, despite the loss.

“Jesse Mardon was a stand-out, taking control of the ball and setting out the plays and the young fellas stepped out and showed what they had to go against the A-grade opposition, and we were one for one in defence countering,” he said.

The Demons lost to the country week composite side 6-8, the result not affecting the standings but provided a good run out for the Demons ahead of their crunch match against the B52s in round 15 which will determine who takes out the minor premiership.

The Demons faced the Serpents in the women’s match-up, with the Demons winning 15-2 as Kobi Toomath put in a best-of-round performance, scoring four goals for the Demons and setting up others.

Jazmin Cocking was also impressive for the Demons, scoring 4 of her own and teeing up her teammates for other opportunities.

In B grade men’s games, the B52s took down the Rats 12-8 with Leo and Daniel Prout getting five goals between them for the B52s.

The Demons narrowly beat out the B52s Relics 7-6 as Ben Ebjary proved the difference with three goals to take the victory.

In the women’s B grade games, the Serpents were without several key players and substitutes, losing out to the B52s 12-0.

The Demons won against the Rats 7-1 in the other B grade game.

In the men’s C grade games, the B52s Blue beat the Rats 11-3 and the B52s White ran rampant against the Demons, winning 19-1.

For the women Rats Orange won over the the B52s 6-4, the Serpents narrowly defeated the Demons Black 2-1 and the Demons Gold won over the Rats Black 8-2.
