Stars take plunge in chilly conditions in fight against MND
Football stars took a different kind of ice bath after the game at the third annual Big Freeze in the Valley at Mazzuchelli Oval.
The event helped raise over $30,000 in support of MND research and saw two former Eagles in Lewis Jetta and Matt Priddis turn out for the Royals.
The slide took place after dark following completion of the women’s match as the temperature dropped below 10 degrees.
A wide array of characters braved the conditions and drew big crowds as the Royals upset Railways in the league match to knock them off the top of the ladder.
