The unveiling of EVOLVE 2025 will soon transform a Narrogin street corner for more than a month, with more than 100 original art pieces by senior students to showcase young local talent.

More than 100 unique art pieces created by Narrogin Senior High School students from Years 7-12 and two leading teachers, Lilly Simkins and Chris Davies, will be officially unmasked at 6pm on Thursday at the corner of Park and Fairway streets.

The exhibition will be on display from November 6-28, with the opening hours from 10am to 4pm Tuesday through to Saturday.

Each classroom was set with a designated task, promising one-of-a-kind creations to follow their individual theme.

These include embroidered cultural portraits, surrealism, album covers, magazine covers, macro and Screaming Hands in various art forms such as textiles, paintings, digital photography, mixed media, clay, printmaking and drawings.

Ms Simkins said exhibiting their students’ work fosters connection and inspiration for both the students and the community.

“It’s great to showcase to the community all the creative work they are making throughout the year,” she said.

“It gives the students the opportunity to display their work both digitally and in an exhibition format for aspiring artists of the future.

“It also provides them with the potential to sell and get their work commissioned.”

Ms Simkins urged community members to join the exhibition opening night and support the budding artists.

“The students have created some truly wonderful pieces for both visual arts and photography this year,” she said.

“It would be a great support from family and the community if they could come and have a look at all the work they have achieved.”
