IN PICTURES: Laughs onstage and behind the scenes as Narrogin Repertory Club deliver with The Butler Did It!

It was hilarity on stage and off as the Narrogin Repertory Club offered up its 2024 debut The Butler Did It!, a character-driven funny whodunnit that had audiences laughing and guessing to the end. A sold-out opening night on April 17 was followed by seven performances at Thornton Theatre featuring co-directors Ilario Da Silva and Dave Pettit alongside Sharna Odlin, Pete Baker, an uproarious Josh Pomykala, Allison Bairstow, Louise Cameron, Ella Hann and the fabulous Joan Armstong. First-timer Hann shone as independent aviatrix Kat Covinton alongside Baker, who has now been murdered twice in Narrogin Repertory productions. Cameron and Pettit played a lovably clueless couple and Odlin gave a consummate performance as Sarah the maid. Da Silva’s titular butler was witty and charming and Bairstow’s gun-wielding granny got a lot of laughs. The strong cast was well supported by Sally Whitfield-Cotton on sound and lighting, and prompts Natalie Teasdale and Jacqui Early.
