IN PICTURES: Narrogin Senior High School’s past and present celebrates its 70th anniversary with a sundowner

A wave of more than 150 current and former students and teachers flocked to Narrogin Senior High School, some having not set foot on campus in decades, to celebrate the school’s 70th anniversary last week. NSHS hosted its milestone event on the school grounds on Friday night, welcoming 160 guests for a special sundowner that paid homage to the past seven decades. Visiting students ranged from the class of 1955 to 2025, representing graduates who have continued the school’s legacy for its entire lifetime. Patricia Whitely-Rolfe attended the school in 1956 and was part of the third Year 12 group to ever come from NSHS. Now living in Busselton after moving from Williams, Ms Whitely-Rolfe said it is really nice seeing so many past students and people from around her hometown. “I had an amazing lot of teachers and an amazing experience,” she said. “I’ve been back for different reunions, but the last one was about 10 years ago.” Ms Whitely-Rolfe said she is delighted to see NSHS still thriving after 70 years.
