A crash on Reid Highway eastbound is giving commuters headaches as they head home for the weekend, with lanes blocked as the peak hour rush descends.

The incident occurred on Reid Highway in Noranda before Malaga Drive, and was reported by Main Roads at 4.20pm.

The crash has been cleared, but traffic remains slow leading up to the site.

Main Roads has reminded motorists to exercise “extreme” caution if driving in the area.
