Perth traffic: Vehicle rollover closes lanes on Mitchell Freeway northbound exit to Charles Street, West Perth

A vehicle rollover closed a road and multiple lanes on Mitchell Freeway northbound, causing major delays for drivers on Sunday afternoon.

The rollover was located on the Freeway exit to Charles Street in West Perth and was reported by Main Roads just after 3pm.

Emergency services including an ambulance were on the scene, as it appears multiple vehicles were impacted by the incident.

The exit to Charles Street was completely closed, causing heavy traffic leading up to the site.

The crash has since been cleared and road reopened, but traffic remains slow on approach.

The rollover comes after a horror weekend on WA roads, as six people have been killed in traffic incidents.
