A woman has been rushed to hospital after a reported stabbing at one of the nation’s most famous beaches.

Emergency services responded to reports the 36-year-old woman was stabbed on Roscoe St at Bondi Beach, in Sydney’s eastern suburbs, just before 11am Friday.

NSW Ambulance paramedics treated the woman for a head injury before she was taken to hospital in a stable condition.

A crime scene has been established, with police investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.

NSW Police issued a statement urging anyone with information, CCTV footage or dashcam vision urged to contact Crime Stoppers immediately.
