Cathedral Avenue tree removal

Geraldton Guardian

The City of Greater Geraldton will remove a dead Norfolk Island Pine tree from a verge along Cathedral Avenue this Thursday.

Traffic management will be in place between Chapman Road and Sanford Street, from 6am to 8am.

A city spokeswoman said the tree needed to be removed because it posed a risk to community safety.

She urged people to exercise caution in the area while work was under way.
