Geraldton, Meekatharra, Mullewa, Mount Magnet open days provide support for ID, licence applications, fines

Aboriginal Justice is holding open days across the region to help Mid West communities better access services for identification, licensing and fines.

The Aboriginal Justice Mid West open days will be available to residents in Geraldton, Meekatharra, Mount Magnet and Mullewa.

The one-stop shop will offer services to help gain identification, time-to-pay arrangements for fines, Department of Transport services to apply for a driver’s licence, Centrelink for health care and income statements and other documentation.

Community services such as Regional Alliance West, Westpac Banking, Criminal Injuries Compensation, WorkSkil, Communicare and Australian Electoral Commission will be available on the day.

Open Day dates are as follows:

Meekatharra Shire Town Hall Tuesday, November 8 — 9am-2.30pm.

Mount Magnet Anzac Hall Wednesday, November 9 — 9am-3pm.

Mullewa Lesser Hall Thursday, November 10 — 10am-2pm.

Geraldton PCYC (105 Pass Street, Wonthella) Friday, November 11 — 9am-3pm.

The Department of Justice asks visitors to bring as many identification documents as possible in order to help with inquiries.
