Geraldton police seek community assistance to identify suspect captured on CCTV at the time of burglary

Geraldton police are investigating a home burglary in Beresford, where an unknown man stole a laptop, phone and house keys from a home sometime at the weekend. Geraldton police acting OIC Sen. Sgt Andrew Ramsden said police allege between 9pm on Saturday, May 20 and 6.45am on Sunday, May 21, an unknown man entered a home on George Road, Beresford. It’s alleged the suspect forced a sliding door to gain access and stole a laptop, phone and house keys from inside the premises. Geraldton police believe the man pictured could assist police with inquiries in relation to the burglary. Sen. Sgt Ramsden said police were awaiting results from a forensic examination and were appealing for witnesses. “The image was captured from external CCTV and police are calling for anyone who recognised the person depicted to call Crime Stoppers,” he said.
