Lightning, rain possible for Geraldton on Sunday
Geraldton could be in for a lightning show tomorrow afternoon as offshore storm activity to the south west moves towards the coast.
A possible thunderstorm could reach the Mid West coast around noon tomorrow between Geraldton and Dongara, and hang around into the early evening.
By nightfall coastal and inland areas south east of Geraldton could see light rain and active lightning displays.
Coastal areas up towards Kalbarri could also get some rain.
The Bureau of Meteorology’s MetEye shows there is a chance of thunderstorms between Perth and Jurien Bay, and inland towards Dalwallinu and Southern Cross on Sunday afternoon. It predicts a 50 per cent change of zero to three millimetres of rain in Geraldton.
ECMWF forecasting predicts up to 30mm could fall between Geraldton and Dongara in the early afternoon.

Jurien Bay: 23, showers, possible storm
