Police seek information after Geraldton crash
Geraldton Police are concerned for the health of a quad bike rider who was involved in a crash this morning.
At about 5am a man, who was not wearing any protective equipment, was riding a red quad bike when he struck the side of the car at the intersection of Currell Way and North West Coastal Highway in the Midwest city.
The man fell off the quad bike and ran into nearby bushland.
Police have searched the surrounding area, but so far haven’t been able to locate him.
It is not known what injuries he received in the crash or if he is need of medical assistance.
The man is described as fair skinned, approximately 180cm tall, was unshaven and has short brown hair. At the time of the crash he was wearing a dark coloured hoodie and jeans.
Anyone with information regarding the crash, or the identity or whereabouts of the rider, is asked to call Police on 131 444.
