Kalgoorlie police are investigating after several vehicles were damaged while parked at Kalgoorlie-Boulder Airport at the weekend.

A WA Police spokesperson said the vehicles were damaged between 5pm on Saturday and 1.30am on Sunday.

“Unknown offenders have broken car windows and sprayed several vehicles with powder from a fire extinguisher,” the spokesperson said.

City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder chief executive Andrew Brien confirmed several vehicles were vandalised at the airport on the weekend, “with the airport’s fire equipment also sustaining property damage”.

“The WA Police were contacted and are now managing the investigation. The City has provided investigators with access to CCTV footage,” Mr Brien said.
