A brief moment between Prince Harry and Meghan Markle during their visit Down Under has fuelled speculation about the state of the couple’s marriage.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s body language became the topic of conversation when online sleuths spotted a telling interaction between the pair.

The moment that got tongues wagging was when Prince Harry held open a car door for Meghan and took her hand as the pair stepped out onto a Melbourne street.

Responding to a video of the interaction on X, fans said the chivalrous display suggests their marriage is thriving.

“He absolutely handles her with such great care! Opens her door and takes that hand,” one person wrote. “It’s very important. A love like this.”

Another added: “I don’t think he’s ever done this before!”

“Oh my goodness, he opens the door for her! Lucky Meghan!” said a third.

The observation may come as a surprise for many after several reports suggested things were tense between the couple following their royal exit.

The Sussexes touched down in Australia on Tuesday and were quick to kick off the tour with a visit to the Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne to talk with sick kids and their families.

Meghan and the Prince are set for another stacked schedule on Wednesday, with plans to meet charity representatives at the AFL HQ before Harry jets to Canberra for events at the Australian War Memorial.

No details have been revealed about how Meghan plans to spend her time without Prince Harry on Wednesday.
