In Pictures: Community relays for a cause, raising hundreds of thousands for cancer research in Bunbury

More than 500 people took to Payne Park at the weekend for a 24-hour relay to raise money for cancer research. The South West sporting ground was the stage for Bunbury’s 23rd Relay for Life event, which managed to smash its $200,000 target before it even began, raising more than $278,000 by the end of the weekend. From 10am Saturday to 10am Sunday, 541 participants from 52 teams took to the track, keeping the relay going long through the night. They were joined by hundreds more family, friends and supporters across the weekend.
