Fresh off the Millennium Falcon, from a galaxy far, far away, two familiar faces have been spotted exploring our great State of WA. WATCH THE VIDEO IN THE PLAYER BELOW.

A ban on intergalactic travel saw Han Solo stuck down south, calling on his trusty companion Chewbacca to make the journey to find him.

With storm troopers hot on his tail, Chewie dodged shots from blaster rifles as he ran through the region’s luscious karri forests, bumping into an Ewok along the way.

Locals and tourists made a new friend when he stopped for high-fives and selfies at the Busselton Jetty, before running off to check out the view from the end.

A pit stop at the beautiful beaches of Denmark and Albany was on the list before Chewie was finally reunited with his best mate Han to catch the sunset at canal rocks.

Released by Base Imagery on Tuesday in celebration of May the 4th, the video has amassed more than 312,000 views and brightened the day of fans of the iconic franchise.

The tribute also featured tracks from the sci-fi soundtrack performed by the UWA Conversatorium of Music.
