Talent and community on show at exclusive BRAG Industry Night

World class art was celebrated on Friday at an industry event to launch fresh exhibitions at Bunbury Regional Art Gallery. The gallery came to life with artists, their supporters and the wider community who gathered to network and immerse in art. BRAG arts and culture education and communications officer Molly Werner welcomed quests and explained each of the new exhibitions. The exhibitions celebrated included the Indian Ocean Craft Triennial 2024, consisting of ceramic pieces inspired by South Africa and created by artist Madoda Fani. Iluka Visions, which features the work of high school students in the region, also opened, as well as Wallabies by Matthew Clarke. The community were encouraged to engage with the artists while enjoying the works. Fani also shared stories behind his creations in a question and answer session. IOTA24 and Iluka Visions will be on show at BRAG until October 27.
