Terrifying home invasion vision shows moment four men break into Brisbane home

A woman has a broken finger and no small amount of trauma after her home was broken into by four young men, with the whole ordeal caught on security cameras.
Elena Parolin and her husband woke early on Monday morning in the upstairs bedroom of their home in Rochedale South, Brisbane, when they heard a “loud bang” coming from downstairs.

After heading downstairs to investigate the noise, Ms Parolin encountered four young men in the process of ransacking her home.
In an apparent effort to scare Ms Parolin off, one of them was caught on CCTV footage yelling “get the gun, get the gun” as another man yelled “shoot her, shoot her”, though it is unclear whether any of the men had a loaded firearm.

“I just felt that I was going to lose my life this morning. I didn’t know if it was going to be by gunshot or by a knife,” she said.
Ms Parolin broke her finger when one of the men knocked a phone out of her hand.

“Preliminary inquiries indicate at 5.15am the people have forced the front door and threatened the female resident with a knife,” a QPS spokesman said.
“One of the people hit the ladies’ phone from her hand causing an injury to her finger. The four people demanded cash and briefly searched the residence before leaving without taking any property in a white SUV.
“Investigators believe the white SUV may be connected with a number of other property offences in the greater south Brisbane area yesterday.”Investigators are appealing for anyone with relevant vision or information to contact police.
