East Kimberley police investigating Halls Creek car yard fire offer $25,000 reward

Kununurra detectives are offering a reward of up to $25,000 for anyone with information relating to a costly East Kimberley car yard fire last month.

The blaze began in the early hours of Saturday, December 4 between midnight and 1.20am at a car yard on Duncan Road in Halls Creek.

A number of vehicles parked within the yard were damaged in the fire, causing an estimated $100,000 in damage.

The cash reward is on offer for anyone with information that leads to the identification and conviction of an arsonist.

Anyone with video footage or dashcam vision in the area at the time of the fire is urged to contact crime stoppers.
