Driver taken to Midland Hospital after crash on Toodyay Road in Red Hill

A man has been taken to hospital after a serious crash in Red Hill near the Darling Scarp.

Authorities say the crash happened when a car left Toodyay Road and hit trees just after 6am on Thursday.

Paramedics were quickly on the scene and treated the driver.

The man was taken to Midland Hospital where he is being treated for a possible medical episode.

He was not hurt in the crash.
