Petrol prices will soar across Perth tomorrow with the average cost of regular unleaded set to jump by more than 30 cents per litre.

Drivers are being urged to fill up tonight and avoid being hit with prices of up to $1.45 per litre tomorrow.

It could save the average motorist up to $28 on a 60 litre tank of fuel.

Due to Perth’s price cycle, Monday and Tuesday petrol prices are generally the cheapest.

Caltex, Ampol, Caltex Woolworths and Coles Express service stations will record price increases of between 42c and 44c.

The cheapest fuel today is at 7-Eleven Wattle Grove in the east at $1.009, NightOwl Shell Redcliffe at 99.6c and Vibe Bedford at 98.5c.

WA’s petrol price watchdog FuelWatch says those filling up tomorrow will still find more than 25 sites selling regular unleaded below $1.02 per litre.

They include Caltex StarMart Midvale in the East for $1.02, Vibe Bedford in the North for 98.5c and 7-Eleven Cockburn Central, Caltex Woolworths South Lake and Liberty Gosnells at 99.9c.
