Gabbadah car surf stunt on October 23 being investigated by police
Police are hunting for those behind this crazy high speed car surfing stunt which occurred north of Perth late last month.
On Tuesday police released photos - captured by a speed camera - showing a man on the bonnet of a Ford ute. The man appears to be drinking out of a bottle as the car speeds past the multanova.
What makes the stupid stunt most alarming is the fact the Ford utility was captured by the speed camera travelling at 119km/h.
The mindless exploit was recorded on Indian Ocean Drive in Gabbadah, about 82km north of Perth, on Saturday October 23 at 2.23am.
“The Ford ute was displaying Victorian registration ‘ZKG 264’, number plates that belong to a different make and model vehicle,” police said in a statement.
Anyone who sees the vehicle is being urged to call police on 131 444.
Anyone with information regarding the vehicle or its previous movements is asked to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or report the information online at www.crimestopperswa.com.au.
