Perth traffic: Vehicle rollover forces part closure of Toodyay Road in Middle Swan

A vehicle rollover in Middle Swan resulted in the closure of a busy road.

Toodyay Road was shut between Roe Highway and Brown Street about 5:38pm, causing traffic delays for motorists.

Drivers were advised to avoid the area by seeking an alternative route before the accident was cleared about 6:37pm.

Meanwhile a police incident caused traffic mayhem on Tonkin Highway.

The incident before Reid Highway in Noranda resulted in cars being backed up to Guildford Road.

Main Roads cleared the incident about 5:50pm, but traffic is still heavy on approach.

Earlier a crash at the Hutton Street exit from Mitchell Freeway northbound caused turmoil for motorists about 3:52pm.

The accident resulted in the closure of the right turning lane before the incident was cleared about 4:05pm.
