A crash on the Kwinana Freeway, blacked-out traffic lights across Perth’s east and wet weather are causing headaches for motorists, with drivers warned to brace for delays and dangerous conditions.
The biggest snarl-up is at northbound Kwinana Freeway before Rowley Road at Mandogalup, where a crash has blocked the right lane.
Towing crews are on the scene, with traffic banking up heavily on approach.
Motorists are urged to merge carefully through the congestion.
Drivers are also battling blacked-out traffic lights across Wattle Grove and Forrestfield, affecting multiple intersections and raising the risk of crashes during busy traffic periods.
Main Roads has warned motorists to slow down and give way to vehicles on their right while crews worked to restore the signals.
Earlier, another crash near the intersection of Gnangara Road and Alexander Drive at Cullacabardee also caused traffic delays.
The crash has since been cleared but traffic remains slow in the area.
