Three boys allegedly went on a crime spree in Tarcoola Beach yesterday, stealing from cars and taking a Toyota Hilux on a joyride, according to police.

It is alleged two 15-year-olds and a 14-year-old stole from several vehicles in Glendinning Road between 2am and 3am.

They then allegedly got inside the Hilux, found a set of spare keys and drove the car through several suburbs before abandoning it near the Chapman River Bridge in Spalding.

A 15-year-old from Sunset Beach was charged with stealing a motor vhicle and will appear before Geraldton Children's Court at a later date.

The other boys were given juvenile cautions and released.
