A hoon driver left a trail of destruction on a quiet suburban street before allegedly attending a police station armed with a hammer.
Lawns have been ripped up, letterboxes smashed and drag marks left up and down Granesse Drive in Ellenbrook.
Vision of the incident shows the driver hurtling down the street and crashing into a tree just after 9pm on Thursday.
The rampage only revs up as the driver continues to do burnouts, which pops a tyre and causes sparks to fly.
Sarah, who lives on the street, said it was scary because she has kids.
“You could smell burnt rubber everywhere, it was horrible,” she told 7NEWS.

Tania Tiopira lost her letterbox during the ordeal.
The 38-year-old driver was arrested on a busy intersection and charged with reckless driving.
He was free to go but at around 2.40am on Friday he allegedly returned to Ellenbrook police station armed with a hammer.
Less than four kilometres away, at the same time as the Ellenbrook hooning incident, a police pursuit was unfolding in Aveley.

A Ford Falcon was captured flooring it before losing control and crashing into a light pole.
The 19-year-old allegedly fled on foot before being arrested by police.
Both men faced court on Friday with the pair on bail until their next appearance.
