A 12-year-old girl who went missing for two days in Perth’s southern suburbs has been located safe and well.

Police were searching for Shontae Cassin on Tuesday after her parents feared she had been taken.

Shontae went missing from the Hillman area — near Rockingham — on Sunday morning.

On Wednesday morning, a police spokesman confirmed she had been located.

She was without a phone and only a laptop and her parents feared the worst after she failed to meet a friend at Warnbro Station as planned.

Her parents told 7NEWS she had been messaging people on Discord — a chatroom platform for gamers — before she vanished.

“They can use it for other things and there are predators and they’re not monitored,” her mum, Tegan, said.

Shontae Cassin was last seen in the Hillman area — near Rockingham — on Sunday morning but she has not been heard from since.
