Police are investigating a break-in and vandalism attack at Rangeway Primary School last night.

Around 8.05pm an unknown person or group of people broke into the school and sprayed the walls and desks with graffiti.

Craft paint was also thrown around the walls and floor.

A police forensic team has scanned the scene, and are currently analysing blood evidence for fingerprints or DNA.

It appears that nothing was stolen, but police said they could not be sure until school staff had the opportunity to check tomorrow morning.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact Crimestoppers on 1800 333 000.
