Friday will be D-Day for Dockers fans looking to secure tickets to next weekend’s elimination final clash against Gold Coast.

The AFL on Thursday morning released ticketing information for next Saturday night’s blockbuster at Optus Stadium, having confirmed the fixture for a 5.35pm bouncedown.

Freo fans will have to move quickly on Friday August 29 in order to snap up their seats, with club members given top priority as usual.

Competing club members will have access to tickets from 10am (WA time) on Friday, with that window closing at 2pm.

‘Priority 1’ access will be available for an hour from 10am, with ‘Priority 2’ access from 11am.

“Members will be receiving an email today with their barcodes for finals ticketing access,” Fremantle said in a statement.

“You can also access these via your MyFreo account.”

Then from 3pm (WA time), tickets will go on sale to the general public. Sales will be via Ticketmaster.

For those who can’t get to Fremantle’s first finals clash in three years, the match will be screened live and free on Seven.

The Dockers are expected to threaten their record for the largest crowd they’ve played in front of in a WA match when next weekend’s action gets underway. That mark was set in the 2022 elimination final, when 58,982 watched Freo overcome a horror start to overwhelm the Western Bulldogs.

Fremantle’s opponent for next week’s match was on Wednesday night locked in as Gold Coast, with the Suns to travel to Perth to feature in their first-ever finals clash.
