A new ship will join the growing fleet on Egypt’s River Nile in September 2026.

Travelmarvel has announced that it will make its return to the river with the 62-cabin Travelmarvel Sirius.

The ship is named for the brightest star in the night sky, Sirius — revered by ancient Egyptians as the star whose rising signalled the annual flooding of the Nile.

It will home port in Luxor and visit sites which will include Dendera, Karnak, Esna, Edfu, Kom Ombo and Aswan.

Travelmarvel CEO David Cox says: “All guests will also visit the awe-inspiring Abu Simbel by private charter flight — a rare and highly sought-after inclusion that elevates the journey beyond the ordinary.”

The design of the ship’s interior has been led by Studio L, working with Travelmarvel’s design team. It blends the contemporary with Egyptian influences — classic colonial with modern amenities. There’s a decent swimming pool.

Ahead of the official Egypt 2026 program launch in October, Travelmarvel has released an 11-day Treasures of Egypt and the Nile early, and it is available to book now. Prices are from $6395 per person with an earlybird saving of up to $4600 per couple.
