To celebrate being named the world’s Best Hybrid Airline at the 2026 Korea Consumer Awards, Vietjet has launched an exclusive promotion with discounted fares, including one-way Eco tickets from $199, including taxes and fees.
The deal applies to the airline’s direct flights from Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth to Ho Chi Minh City, with bookings available until 2am (AEST) on August 9 for travel between September 5, 2026 and March 31, 2027 (blackout dates and peak travel periods apply).
Travellers looking for a little extra comfort can also save 30 per cent on Business and SkyBoss fares by using the promotional code BUSB88 when booking direct international flights. Those planning a European adventure can also receive 20 per cent off Deluxe fares on Vietjet’s Hanoi–Almaty–Prague service with the code DLX88.
Better still, passengers who pre-order meal combos before they fly will receive 50 per cent off across eligible routes for travel between August 18 and March 31, 2027, making it a little cheaper to sample the airline’s menu of Vietnamese favourites, including pho, banh mi and iced milk coffee.
The sale comes as Vietjet continues to expand beyond Vietnam, with new routes launching later this year linking Hanoi with Prague in the Czech Republic and Almaty in Kazakhstan, as well as Ho Chi Minh City with Colombo in Sri Lanka.
For Australian travellers, it creates more opportunities to use Vietnam as a gateway to destinations across Asia and, increasingly, Europe.
For anyone planning an overseas holiday over the next six months, now might be a good time to book via Vietnam.
