Callum Turner has revealed what kind of lover he is just months after tying the knot with Dua Lipa.
The Nightly spoke to the Hollywood star on the red carpet of the Sydney Premiere of One Nightly Only. Turner plays Owen in the new romantic comedy.
The film is set in an alternate near-future America where a puritanical government has outlawed premarital sex, except for one very specific 12-hour window each year.
And while the film takes a wild approach to romance, Turner was asked to reveal a little about his own approach to love.
The actor made a rather controversial admission about the five love languages.
Asked which one best describes him, Turner had a surprisingly simple answer.
“All of them” he told The Nightly.

The five love languages
- Words of affirmation: Showing love through compliments, encouragement, praise and saying “I love you”.
- Acts of service: Showing love by doing thoughtful things to make your partner’s life easier, like cooking dinner or helping with chores.
- Receiving gifts: Feeling loved through thoughtful presents that show your partner was thinking of you.
- Quality time: Feeling connected by spending meaningful, undistracted time together.
- Physical touch: Expressing love through physical affection such as cuddling, kissing, holding hands or hugs.
But Turner isn’t convinced people can be neatly categorised into one.
“I actually don’t really believe in the love language thing,” he said.
“I think everyone is all of them. Maybe you’re slightly more of one thing, but I don’t believe that.”

So, according to Turner, he gives and receives all five.
“I think it’s all of them. I think that you give them all and you receive them all,” he said.
Turner is married to pop superstar Dua Lipa, with the couple becoming one of the most closely watched celebrity pairings since they were first romantically linked.
The pair have regularly given fans glimpses into their relationship, from loved-up holiday snaps and glamorous red carpet appearances to cosy moments shared on social media.
Their romance has taken them around the world, with Lipa sharing photos from their travels and special moments together.
The couple eventually took their relationship to the next level, tying the knot in May this year in a private ceremony in London before a multi-day lavish wedding celebration in Sicily, Italy.
While they have kept much of their relationship away from the spotlight, their public appearances and social media posts have offered plenty of glimpses into their romance.
Those who haven’t seen Lipa doing yoga in a bikini while Turner watches with love-heart eyes, has been living under a rock.

So perhaps Turner’s “all of them” approach to love languages is working after all.
For now, the newlyweds appear to be keeping the finer details of their wedding and relationship for themselves but fans can certainly speculate.
“I’ve been saying!!! Callum the ultimate green flag,” one Instagram user wrote on The Nightly’s video.
And as Turner brings his take on modern romance to the big screen, audiences can decide for themselves whether they agree with his love-language theory and if he’s the ultimate green flag man.

One Night Only hits Australian cinemas August 13.
