‘Reunited with her brother’: Parents devastated after teen dies in horror quad bike crash in Tasmania, just after little brother died

A teenage girl who died alongside a man in a horror quad bike collision on Tasmania’s west coast has been identified.
Emergency services were called to a collision on the Murchison Hwy, involving a white Mitsubishi Triton and a red Honda quad bike near Rosebery, about 310km northwest of Hobart, at 4.30pm on Saturday.
Adasyn Wood Savin, 16, and another 38-year-old man from Rosebery were both on the quad bike.
Despite the attempts of two interstate tourists who provided medical attention after the crash, both died at the scene.
The 40-year-old male driver of the ute was not injured.

In an official fundraiser, family friend Ella Mackrell revealed Adasyn’s family were also grieving the sudden death of her younger brother - who passed before the devastating crash which claimed Adasyn’s life.
Ms Mackrell paid tribute to Adasyn, saying she was in Rosebery from NSW for the school holidays.
“She was having fun, spending time with friends, and making memories the way any 16-year-old should.” Ms Mackrell said.
“Tragically, while riding a ATV, Adasyn and one of our beloved friends Whitt, were hit by a car and both of them passed away at the scene.”
The GoFundMe set up by Ms Mackrell is raising money to support the teen’s family with funeral expenses, and to take Adasyn home to Newcastle.
“No family should ever have to worry about finances while grieving the loss of their child,” she said.

“As Adasyn leaves us behind we think about her parents … her brothers … and the rest of the family, who are now facing life without their beautiful sister, cousin, and friend.”
A Tasmania Police spokesman said an investigation into the cause of the crash was underway and that the driver would be subjected to drug and alcohol testing, which was standard practice.
“Tasmania Police would like to thank the group of interstate tourists who stopped and rendered medical assistance at the scene,” a spokesman said.
“Our thoughts are with the family and loved ones of both the deceased. A report will be prepared for the coroner.
Anyone with information in relation to the crash, or with dashcam footage is urged to contact Crime Stoppers.
