Two premier hotels have been named as the State’s best at this year’s AHA Accommodation Awards for Excellence, beating the likes of Crown Perth and The Ritz-Carlton.
The awards were held on Monday at the Devil’s Lair Gala Ball at The Westin Perth, where WA’s leading hotels were celebrated in front of more than 500 industry leaders and guests.
The prestigious annual event recognises excellence and leadership in the management and operation of accommodation hotels across the State, highlighting the achievements of venues, teams, managers and individual staff.
The major award winners of the night included The Westin, taking home WA’s best metro accommodation hotel award and the Hilton Garden Inn Busselton, winning WA’s best regional accommodation hotel award.

AHA WA chief executive Bradley Woods said the awards, spanning more than 30 categories, showcase the professionalism, resilience and innovation within WA’s accommodation sector.
“These awards recognise the exceptional people and properties delivering world-class hospitality across our state,” he said.
“Western Australia’s accommodation sector is thriving, with Perth hotels achieving average occupancy rates well above the national average and visitor numbers across the State reaching record levels.
“From luxury city hotels to family-friendly regional accommodation, tonight’s winners are leading the way, providing outstanding service, memorable experiences and demonstrating the professionalism and innovation that keep WA at the forefront of Australian tourism.”
Crown Towers Perth won the hotel management team award while The Ritz-Carlton Perth’s bar Songbird took home the accommodation hotel bar award.
The accommodation hotel wine list award went to Wildflower at Como The Treasury, winning the category for the third time in a row.
