Vintage tweet from top cop

The Midwest Gascoyne District’s top cop has posted a classic – or should that be vintage – tweet to drive home the dangers of using a mobile phone when behind the wheel.

Superintendent Mike Bell this morning posted a meme to Twitter showing an early 20th century car hanging off a bridge with the text: ‘typewriting while driving’.

His post came with the following message: “Still seeing people SMS’ing and holding mobiles to their ear whilst driving. A distracted driver is a dangerous driver”.
