Leaving the showground, being lead by Willys Jeeps and veterans on horseback, the South Western highway was packed with people Thursday morning, marching in an act of solidarity for Anzac soldiers.

The Anzac Day dawn service in Brunswick Junction was one of the largest on record, with hundreds packing the streets from all walks of life.

Attendees walked from the entrance of the Brunswick showgrounds before settling outside town hall, meeting the master of ceremonies Judy Talbot, as she invited a record number of people to lay wreaths at the base of the memorial.
