Peak hour trains have been delayed in Perth’s north this morning.

Transperth confirmed a railcar “experienced technical issues” at Glendalough Station.

Crews managed to get the train moving again about 8.30am but the issue continues to cause some delays for commuters on the Yanchep Line.

There are reports Perth-bound passengers were told to get off a train at Warwick Station and take other transport.

The train involved in the issue is not one of the new C Series trains which came into operation last year as part of the State Government’s Metronet project.
