Southern River: Young woman, 28, dies in horror crash on Tonkin Highway

A young woman has died in a horror crash in Perth’s south-east.

Police say a silver Audi sedan and white Toyota Fortuner station sedan collided on Tonkin Highway, in Southern River, about 8.50pm on Thursday.

The driver of the Toyota Fortuner, a 28-year-old woman, suffered life-threatening injuries and died at the scene.

Major Crash investigators are conducting an examination of the scene and are appealing for any witnesses to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or report the information online.
