The Ashes live scores: Follow the latest from Day 2 of the Third Test from Adelaide Oval

Day 1 in Adelaide had no shortage of talking points - so what will Day 2 bring?
Australia resume at 8-326, but it could have been a better position for England had a DRS error not gone against them to help Alex Carey notch a ton.
The tourists will be looking to wrap up two quick wickets and then bat for a long chunk of time - in forecast 37C heat - to put the pressure back on the home side.

Here’s the best of the action from day two.
STUMPS ENGLAND 8-213
The Ashes are not yet dead as England survive to live another day thanks to a gritty knock from Ben Stokes and big swings from Jofra Archer.
But on a pitch that was supposed to be a road Australia have praised out 8 wickets 158 runs still in front and will look to bat England out of the game and series if they can knock over the last two wickets quickly.
Nathan Lyon made a stunning return while Pat Cummins was the pick of the bowlers with 3-54 though it was a team effort to keep it tight all day.
Only Harry Brook offered any meaningful resistance to Stokes who once again stands alone.
Should be the last over before stumps
Ben Stokes is feeling it out there hobbling around.
Lyon to bowl.
Stokes is back and defending.
Lyon comes over the wicket as Stokes pads up.
Over the top defending.
Switches back to around the wicket.
Defends off the front foot.
Last ball full and blokced and Stokes and Archer survive.
Archer continues to swing
Field set for the short ball, and Archer isn’t going to back down as he drops just short of a diving Labuschagne and beats him to go for four.
The partnership up to 40 now as England trail by 163
200 up
England tick the score past 200, for the loss of 8. The Barmy Army give the milestone a nice ovation!
The partnership is now worth 32.
Stokes sticking fat
Ben Stokes is the only man this series to have carved out multiple innings facing 100+ deliveries.
He’s now 39 off 129, having faced 152 during his second-innings knock in Brisbane.
England have crept to 8-197, still 174 behind Australia’s total. There’s half an hour left before stumps.
England 8-191
Archer’s up for the fight early in his innings. He’s faced 22 balls and has found a couple of boundaries for his 18.
Meanwhile, here’s our wrap on the Test’s DRS controversy that is threatening to overshadow Australia’s domination with the ball...
England 8-174
Not that it would have been enforced, but the Poms have avoided the prospect of the follow-on.
Archer crisply cuts Starc behind point for four to reduce that deficit underneath 200.
Somewhat surprisingly, Starc’s the only one of the five Aussie bowlers who’s yet to take a wicket. He’s got 0-39 from his 10.
One hour to go: England 8-168
We’ve got 60 minutes until stumps. Will the tourists live to bat out the day?
It’s been a nightmare effort with the bat once again. Everything set up in their favour: Flat deck, super-hot conditions, a long batting order with Jacks at 8. But they’ve melted down once more, with only 45 from Brook and the current unbeaten 32 from Stokes of any note.
Incidentally, Stokes is now hobbling a little between the wickets. May be struggling with cramp in the conditions. He’s been there for 116 deliveries.

BOLAND STRIKES AGAIN! CARSE GOES!
Bowled him!
Boland gets a second within the space of 10 minutes, as Carse has no answer for one that moves in to him and clips the top of middle and off.
It’s now 8-168, with England still 203 in arrears. Archer is at the crease and suddenly it looms as time for Stokes to hit out unless he wants to be stranded...
