The Arts and Cultural Development Council of Geraldton’s final exhibition will open tonight, ahead of the organisation’s closure later this month.

The All Aboard exhibition invited ACDC members to use their creativity to transform a wooden board into a work of art.

More than 35 items will go on display in the community gallery.

ACDC board member Glenda Blyth said the opening was just a soft launch and the closing night on June 16 would be the organisation’s last hurrah.

“It will be a celebration of ACDC, looking at the history of the group and how far it’s come,” she said. “It’s also an AC/DC theme, so come along in your AC/DC clobber.”

All the artworks will be up for sale in a silent auction on the closing night.

ACDC will close at the end of June for financial reasons.
