Two great white sharks have been captured in a feeding frenzy by awestruck fisherman off Yallingup’s coast this weekend.

Jesse Gibson and his friend James Powley captured the forty minute deep blue dinner party while fishing about twelve kilometres off Three Bears in Yallingup yesterday morning.

The two great white sharks were feeding on a dead sperm whale, with the giant creatures’ rows of razor sharp teeth ripping through the flesh of the floating carcass.

Gibson, who captured the moment, said the two predators were about four and a half metres long and had circled his 4.8 metre boat for about 10 minutes before they headed to their main meal.

I've never seen anything like that... it was gnarly.

"I've never seen anything like that, I don't think many people ever will, it was a once in a lifetime - it was gnarly,” Gibson told 7News.

The 21-year-old has been fishing for as long as he can remember and said witnessing the meal was “out of this world”.

Despite the scary encounter, Jesse says he'll return to the water.

“The ocean never ceases to amaze me”.
